We provide our customers with customized chronic social defeat stress model establishment and evaluation test solutions. The application of this program supports customers in making progress in uncovering depression-related pathology and pharmacology research.
Social defeat animal model stimulation is divided into two main stages. Here, we present the process of model building using mice as an example.
C57BL/6J mice were placed in the feeding cage of unfamiliar CD1 mice daily and attacked continuously for 5-10 minutes.
The two mice were separated by a metal plate to maintain visual and olfactory contact. The chronic stress process was continued for 10 d.
