Job Description
We are seeking biotechnology specialists to build bio-technique platforms for mitochondrial diseases research.
Candidates are expected to have extensive work experience in relevant biotech companies.
Responsibilities
- Identify and introduce trending mitochondrial diseases-related biotechnologies to our research platforms.
- Set up new bio-technique platforms with potential applications in mitochondrial diseases research.
- Work with the research team to support better adaptations of mitochondrial diseases-related biotechnologies.
- Present project plans and ongoing progress on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology, bioengineering or biochemistry is preferred. Ph.D. in other related fields is also considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in relevant biotech companies.
- Proficiency in mitochondrial diseases-related biotechnologies, such as CRISPR/Cas9 based genome editing, multi-omics, and drug development.
- Proven abilities in project design and management, and capable of leading a research team.
- Ability to multitask and contribute in a challenging intellectual environment.
