Job Description
We require senior professionals who have specialized experience in the regulators of mitochondrial diseases, drug discovery processes, drug development, and drug manufacturing – most particularly in diagnostic processes, target and model development, drug screening and delivery systems, as well as drug development and preclinical research, and the analysis of mitochondria.
Responsibilities
- Pursue proactive collaboration with the research team of drug/therapeutics development for mitochondria disorders.
- Get familiarized with the disease targets of interest in depth.
- Manage and mentor other scientists from the drug development group and undertake cross-training for them.
- Resolve and troubleshoot problems delaying effective drug/therapeutics development.
- Present reports on project plans and activity results in a continuous manner.
Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates with a PharmD or PhD in cellular and molecular biology or biochemistry. PhD in any other relevant discipline is also acceptable.
- At least 2 years of professional experience with pharmaceutical companies is required.
- Skills and competencies in research and drug development for Mitochondrial diseases.
- With project design and management skills, capable of working autonomously as a leader within an R&D team.
- Possesses the ability to engage in complex problem-solving and is intellectually agile enough to handle multitasking.
