Protein Immobilization Service
Immobilized proteins are special proteins that are fixed in a solid surface or medium, have a longer life cycle and more stable activity, and therefore play an important role in the field of drug development for rare diseases Our company provides a series of protein immobilization services based on our specialized protein coupling technology.
Overview of Protein Immobilization
Protein immobilization is a method by which proteins are chemically or physically modified to be fixed to a material surface or other molecule. Because the protein has a relatively stable secondary structure, fixing it on the surface of the material can improve its operability and stability, so protein fixation technology has been widely used in the field of rare disease drug research and development.

Application of Protein Immobilization
- Drug delivery
Protein immobilization service has been widely used in drug delivery systems, for example by immobilizing drugs or growth factors in polymer particles or materials to achieve long-acting release effects. Immobilized proteins in these systems can act as carriers as well as signal molecules that control release for maximum benefit. - Protein purification
Protein purification is an important step in biopharmaceuticals. By fixing a specific affinity to a solid medium, it can be used for protein purification. - Enzyme catalyzed reaction
Immobilized enzyme-catalyzed reaction has also been widely used in biotransformation and industrial production. By utilizing enzymes embedded or fixed in solid media, efficient and stable enzyme-catalyzed reactions can be achieved. These fixed enzymes are easier to recycle and reuse, thus reducing production costs.
Our Services
Protein fixation technology has been applied to optimize drug delivery systems. By immobilizing protein drugs in polymer particles or materials, the effect of long-term release can be achieved, which can maximize the benefit of the drug. Our company has a range of protein immobilization materials based on different substrates and functional groups, which can be achieved by "covalent coupling" or "immune binding".
Protein covalent coupling
Our company can perform covalent coupling of proteins by modifying different chemical groups on different matrix materials such as PS matrix, Agarose matrix, and SiO2 matrix. Modifiable chemical groups include but are not limited to:
- NHS
- Aldehyde(-CHO)
- Carboxyl(-COOH)
- Amino(-NH2)
- Epoxy
- Tosyl
Protein immunobinding
By modifying streptavidin, protein A, protein G, and GST on nano-materials with different mechanisms such as PS substrate, Agarose substrate, and SiO2 substrate, our company achieves immune binding to different target proteins through specific biological binding methods. The protein immunobinding services we can provide include but are not limited to:
- SA magnetic bead
- Protein A/G magnetic beads
- GST magnetic beads
- Ni magnetic bead
Project Workflow
Our company has long cooperated with scientific research institutions and universities to provide professional protein immunobinding technology services. We are willing to work closely with our customers to develop the application of protein immunobinding in the field of rare diseases. If you are interested in our services, please feel free to contact us for more details and quotation information of related services.
